Week 8 - Morse Code

Morse code was originally created for the electric telegraph in the early 1840s. It can be transmitted as electrical pulses along a telegraph wire using short and long tones. It was used for early radio communication beginning in the 1890s. For the first half of the twentieth century, the majority of high speed international communication was conducted in Morse code.

Morse Code

Morse code is a way of transmitting information using standardized sequences of short and long elements to represent letters, numbers, punctuation and special characters of a message. The short and long elements are formed by sounds commonly known as "dots" and "dashes", or "dits" and "dahs".

You will need to use International Morse Code to crack The Code of the Week.
